fullmarketing.at GmbH - Technician | St. Martin bei Lofer Co. Salzburg Austria
2024 - Present
I applied for this job as a programmer, where they saw the large amount of knowledge and experience in me and then offered me this special technician position. It seemed interesting to me that I could work on a wide range of computing technology with my own schedule. Which also includes programming. One of my main tasks was to design complete camera systems for different terrain conditions without assistance. Based on my own unique designs, I build them from different hardware and if necessary, develop smaller or even more complicated software and bash scripts for them. We primarily used it for creating images and manipulating the completed images (tilt, rotation, color corrections, scaling, placement of watermarks, data displays like GPS coordinates) and sending to our server using FTP, or Email accounts. These camera systems had to withstand various weather conditions. It is important to mention that the operation of a ready-made camera system requires the right amount of energy supply. Saving of already existing energy and Internet access even in places where this is not normally possible. Of course, when planning the camera, the shortcomings of the given location had to be taken into account, and depending on this, the necessary energy sources and even satellite Internet access had to be planned and built. I also worked with WLAN, Ethernet, and Mobile Internet access. The cameras can be accessed remotely and their system can be modified and updated at any time. With the help of my expertise, I was able to combine hardware that normally could not be connected to each other without minor or major modifications. In addition, I also helped in the development of add-ons for various websites made with a CMS engine like WordPress, in the creation and updating of new websites and in the troubleshooting of ready-made websites based on customer requests. My tasks included monitoring, updating and full troubleshooting of Linux-based web servers. I had the opportunity to use firewalls, virus scanners and other security technology programs on a daily basis. Manual installation and updating of various add-ons (for example an old php versions) of the servers' operating systems. I managed and made various settings in our company's huge database of DNS server, just as I did in the DNS server of any of our servers. I supervised the secure mail sending process of the servers and thus ensured error-free correspondence. I built the entire company network myself according to the star topology. To which I added various network drives. These were usually fully purchased NAS network drives. Of course, there were occasions when I myself created NAS systems from outdated servers. We used these drives to store our data and backups. I managed the entire local network with the help of Windows Server and with the Active Directory I managed the users and their authorizations also with a different Group Policies. Last but not least, I helped clients with various troubleshooting by phone, email or (email problems, content changes on their websites, hacker attacks) with remote access using a Ticket System.
Schwarzwaldmilch GmbH - Truck Driver | Freiburg Co. Baden-Württemberg Germany
2022 - 2023
Primarily, I delivered ready-made dairy products mostly to companies, but sometimes also to private costumers with a smaller truck. During delivery, the time of delivery and the specific traffic schedule had to be taken into account. I did similar work with much larger trucks like 40 ton and delivered dairy products to much larger food chains as well. Due to a lack of our drivers, I was asked for a temporary appointment to learn how to operate tanker trucks with a subordinate instructor. This was necessary because filling the tanks with fresh milk from the producers was a complicated task and required concentration because several types of milk had to be transported. In addition, each new upload had to be sampled and documented. A very simple example of this is BIO and non-BIO products. Adequate driving experience was very important, as many producers were located in places that were not easy to reach with a large truck. Narrow roads, low bridges and other restrictions had to be taken into account. Upon arrival at our yard, it was very important that the filled milk in containers had to be subjected to a special test. Any of the results of this test had to be documented and it could only be released in case of a negative result. And then there was the mandatory tank washing, as we also washed the trucks. In the end, I liked this assignment and asked if I would like to do it more times because it makes my work much more varied.
